Description
During this full-day experience, you will be able to become familiar with some well-known Italian brands and delicacies born in Emilia-Romagna.
We will pick you up with a minivan directly at your place in Bologna, Modena or Florence (please choose a correct tour option) in the morning and let your perfect day begin. We will visit local producers to learn something new about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Lambrusco sparkling wine. After all the tours, you’ll taste the products to discover their typical flavors.
Your experience wouldn’t be complete without visiting Ferrari Museum, so to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, Ferrari. And, of course, without having lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area.
At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to your place.
The order of visits may change.
Starting time of different options:
- 07:00 am – Pickup from Ravenna or from Florence
- 08:00 am – Pickup from Bologna or Modena
- 09:00 am – NO PICKUP / TRANSFER included (a self drive option)
When select SELF DRIVE OPTION, you have to travel with your OWN car. NO TRANSFER is included. Starting time for this option is 09:00 am directly at the dairy farm.
Itinerary
- Pick up from your place in Bologna, Modena, or Florence based on the option selected. Please note, that pickup time will depend on the meeting point.
- Dairy farm visit & tasting: we will start our tour with a guided visit at a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced.
- Lambrusco cellar visit: we will enjoy a visit to a local winery and take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about Lambrusco, a sparkling wine from northern Italy. Winery visit could be done in Nonantola or Castelvetro, based on availability.
- Balsamic Vinegar of Modena visit and tasting: we will continue with a visit to an “Acetaia” and discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour.
- Lunch in an agriturismo: we will have lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area.
- Ferrari museum visit: we proceed with a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello with cars, images and trophies that have marked the history of the brand, and you will be able to experience the places where the most beautiful cars in the world are designed.
- Drop off: we will drive back to your place, where the experience ends.

- Pick-up is available from all hotels in Bologna and Modena, when selected that option, and from Florence, with the appropriate tour option. Please specify your requested pickup point (name and complete address). For other destinations, please ask separately. When select SELF DRIVE OPTION, you have to travel with your OWN car. NO TRANSFER is included. You’ll have to reach all the places on your own.
- The visits will be held in the countryside farms, make sure you have appropriate clothing and footwear. Inside the cellar / storage / etc the temperature could be low even during summer period.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event.
